Third Grade Landscape Collage

Third grade students cut shapes out of newsprint. They pasted the shapes on white paper creating a landscape. Finally, they used tempera paint and a brush to paint it.

Eighth grade students explored the use of geometric shapes, developed skills in pattern, created alternated pattern-contrast, worked with positive and negative shape, and explored optical art.

Seventh grade students explored the use of geometric shapes, developed skills in pattern, created alternated pattern-contrast, worked with positive and negative shape, and explored optical art.

First graders created mosaic-like tulips. The kids cut paper into small squares, they identified colors, and filled the tulips outlines with the indicated colors.

Sixth graders learned about Wassily kandinsky, a Russian painter. They used oil pastel to reproduce one of kandinsky’s most important works. Check them out!

Fourth grade students drew a clown facestep by step, they  painted it with oil pastels and added details to complete the drawing. Check out what they did!
